Your drive to UAQ on Dh200m fast-track

Work on the Al Badaia’a intersection bridge will be completed by the end of next year at an estimated total cost of Dh200 million.
 
Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, was quoted by ‘Emarat Al Youm’ as saying: “Eighty-five per cent of Umm Al Quwain’s road development projects are expected to be completed by next September.”
 
He pointed out that  UAQ project consists of six major bridges, two lanes in each direction plus two surfaces tunnels.

He added that the new bridges would connect the entrance to the emirate with highways No. 311 and No. 611.
 
Dr Nuaimi was inspecting the project works at Al Badaia’a bridge and the truck stop being built.

He stressed the importance of these projects to enhance the roads and infrastructure system in the UAE, and their contribution to achieving smooth movement between different regions.
