Executive Committee approves transport project

The Abu Dhabi Executive Committee held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of the Executive Council's Secretary Deneral Mohamed Ahmed Al Bowardi.

The committee members approved a project undertaken by the Department of Transport on the impact of the building materials city project on the adjacent transport network.

The committee discussed a project by Musanada on the methodology for sustainable and environment-friendly maintenance of government buildings.

The committee sanctioned a number of proposed projects including provision of power supply and construction of a cooling station in the new Zayed University campus in Abu Dhabi, and procurement of X-ray detectors for customs posts.
