Both resolutions are effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the official gazette.

The Health Insurance Management Committee for Dubai Government Employees will be established under the chairmanship of the Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.

Members of the committee include one representative from the Dubai Department of Finance (DoF) as Deputy Chairman, one representative from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), a representative from the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department and a representative from the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.

The resolution also outlines the duties and fields of specialty of the committee and its powers.

The appointments of new members to the Crisis Management Team will include a representative from each of the following entities: Government of Dubai Media Office, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Directorate-General of Civil Defence – Dubai, UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and the Professional Communication Corporation (Nedaa).

In 2006, the Crisis Management Team (CMT) in Dubai was established as per Decree No. 022 by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai.

Following the said decree in the same year, Executive Council Resolution No. 014 appointed the General Commander of Dubai Police as Chairman of the CMT board, assigned board members and outlined CMT duties and fields of specialty.

Tasked with laying out emergency response plans in the case of emergencies and crises, the CMT in Dubai ensures full preparedness of all concerned entities across the Emirate of Dubai in line with pre-set scenario-based training plans to encounter any emergency or crises that may occur.
