General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Tuesday at Al Mamoura, General Ahmed Salah Gaid, Deputy Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP) of Algeria.
Sheikh Mohammed and General Gaid discussed ways of enhancing brotherly bilateral ties and reviewed aspects of joint cooperation and their role in serving mutual interests in several sectors including defence.
The two sides also exchanged views on a variety of Arab, regional and international events of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
