Mohamed receives Rwandan President, discusses increasing cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received President Paul Kagame of Rwanda at Al Bahr Palace, who is currently on a private visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Kagame and discussed bilateral ties, as well as steps to enhance them.

The meeting also focussed on increasing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in economic, commercial and investment fields.

Sheikh Mohamed and President Kagame emphasised the importance of developing relations between the two countries. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest, exchanging views on them.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region; Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO); Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Mohamed receives UAEBSA's board and players

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a number of members of the Board of Directors of the United Arab Emirates Billiards and Snooker Association (UAEBSA), in his majlis at Al Bahar Palace.

The UAEBSA team took part in the World Snooker Championship and the Arab Snooker Championship held in Cairo, Egypt, recently and achieved outstanding results.

During the Arab Snooker Championship, Mohammed Mostafa Shihab won the men's singles gold medal, while Mohammed Sultan Aljoker clinched the bronze medal at the World Snooker Championship.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his happiness at the players' efforts and their determination to achieve good results, lauding their distinguished and honourable performance. He also pointed out the importance of the continued follow-up and work to acquire more skills so as to achieve the best results in the future.

The players expressed their happiness at meeting Sheikh Mohamed, hailing his support and encouragement for the youth to further accomplish honourable results and trophies.
