Did you receive a message in your phone asking whether you are happy in Dubai?

It is a question asked by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

During the ongoing Gitex Technology Week, every citizen and resident in Dubai will be asked this question through a partnership between Dubai Police and Du.

The response received is translated into a 'life happiness rate count', which stood at 80 per cent at the moment of writing this story. The question was answered by 259,216 people.

Once the message drops into your phone, you can click a link, which will lead you to the actual questionnaire.

The answer to the question has options 'happy', 'unhappy' and 'neutral'.
