Mohammed bin Rashid, Mohamed bin Zayed visit Museum of Future

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited the Museum of the Future at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
 
The Museum is organised by the Dubai Foundation for the Museum of the Future as part of the World Government Summit 2016.


 
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Mohamed bin Zayed attended part of the summit on its first day in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
 
Their Highnesses were briefed on the creative projects and inventions.

They confirmed the importance of the role played by the museum in imparting knowledge and showcasing innovations and future science as well as dissemination of knowledge to bring closer the concepts and minds of the people, irrespective of their educational level.
 
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said, ''The World Government Summit moves this year from exploring the future to building it and provides a vivid picture of the future through the museum and its creative vision.

“We want the participants to touch the future and to inspire what enhances their experiences and raise the level of people's lives.''
 
''Thanks to science, what we see today will become a reality in the future and we should modernise our teaching methodologies to make these more appropriate to the future of our generations," he added.
 
The museum, organised by the Dubai Foundation for the Museum of the Future, is deemed one of the prominent and main events accompanying the World Government Summit.
 
The World Government Summit has attracted more than 3,000 personalities from over 125 countries, and 125 speakers in over 70 sessions.

The attendees include VIPs and senior experts from the public and private sectors globally, ministers, decision makers, CEOs, innovators, officials, experts, entrepreneurs, academics and university students.

A number of initiatives, reports and studies are set to be launched during the summit and throughout the year.

The summit runs from February 8 - 10, 2016 at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

Mohamed bin Zayed meets Yemen VP

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received the visiting Yemen's Vice-President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and his accompanying delegation, at his majlis at the Al Hosn Palace.

The visitors are here to attend the World Government Summit being held in Dubai.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Yemen's Vice-President and Prime Minister and discussed with him the fraternal relations and the existing cooperation domains between the two countries.

During the meeting, they reviewed the latest political and military developments in Yemen, the efforts exerted by the Yemeni government to spread a sense of security and stability in cooperation and coordination with the Arab Coalition troops.

Bahah extended thanks and appreciation for the UAE's stance and contributions to support the Yemeni people to restore stability as well as its efforts in the humanitarian and military fields.

They also tackled a number of issues of mutual interest.

Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Dhiyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a number of Sheikhs, officials and Emiratis attended the meeting.

Received Egyptian nd Algerian PMs

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today separately received Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Prime Minister of Algeria, Abdelmalek Sellal, who are visiting the UAE to take part in World Government Summit, which kicked off on Monday. 

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Egyptian Prime Minister and Prime Minister of Algeria, and exchanged cordial views with them on fraternal relations and co-operation between the UAE with both Egypt and Algeria. They also reviewed the agenda of the Summit and its role in upgrading the government performance, and highlighting studies and research on enhancing governance.

The meeting with the Algerian Prime Minister was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed's meeting with the Egyptian Prime Minister was attended by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber and Al Mazrouei.

Meets President of World Bank Group

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today met with Dr. Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group and his accompanying delegation who are participating in the World Government Summit launched today in Dubai.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on a number of international economic and development issues as well as the latest developments which have an impact on them.

They also tackled the importance of adopting developed concepts and systems in the modern government work discussed at the summit.

Among those who attended the meeting were Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Hamad Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Finance, Abu Dhabi and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
