Mohammed bin Rashid receives new ambassadors

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today morning received at the presidential palace a number of new ambassadors who paid a courtesy call at the beginning of their tenure in the state.

Those who called on Sheikh Mohammed included Ahmad Rasheed of Maldives, Salman Al Farisi of Indonesia, Al Husn Sawari of Guinea, Aleksandar Dragicevic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Abdul Kader Shaikhi Al Hatemi of Somalia.

He wished them success in the performance of their duties in serving the mutual interests of the UAE and their respective countries.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted country's leadership and Government keenness to strengthen people to people contact between UAE and rest of the countries in order to build human, cultural and economic relations.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State and Lt. General Misbah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in addition to a number of officials.
