His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has directed the Government Summit to begin working with various world governments and international organisations to help develop innovative solutions for common service-related challenges facing governments.

Sheikh Mohammed has also directed the start of preparations for the summit's fourth session, which will be held from February 8-10, 2016, and for it to include a broader and larger vision, creating a specialised global event for the development of innovative solutions in government services that keeps up with the rapid scientific developments.

This year, the Government Summit has achieved great success with the participation of 93 governments, international organisations, 4,000 participants and 100 speakers. The summit also featured the distribution of awards to local, regional and global smart and innovative government services.

The Ruler of Dubai said that the summit's significance will be proven in the coming years, when quality government services are being provided globally, in collaboration with international partners like the United Nations, the World Bank and the World Economic Forum.
