Mohammed pardons 422 prisoners before Eid

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 422 prisoners from the emirate’s punitive and corrective institutions on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Dubai Attorney General Essam Al Humaidan said Sheikh Mohammed's orders were carried out immediately as the public prosecution started coordination with Dubai Police to release the prisoners before the morning of Eid Al Adha.

Al Humaidan expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for his kind gesture, adding that it would have a positive impact on the families of the pardoned prisoners.

Al Humaidan called on the pardoned prisoners to embark on a new beginning drawing guidance from sound human values.
