Mohammed visits Fewa's new control and monitoring centre in UAQ

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,  inspected on Thursday  the 'New Control and Monitoring Centre' at Federal Electricity and Water Authority’s (Fewa) office in Umm Al Quwain.

During the tour, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on electronic devices and equipment besides other sophisticated facilities in the centre, which serves the electricity and water sector in Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hamili, Minister of Energy, Lt. General Musabbeh Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Protocol Department, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director General of the UAE Federal Electricity & Water Authority (Fewa) were accompanying Sheikh Mohammed during the tour.

He also visited the customer service centre of Fewa in Umm Al Quwain and was briefed on the facilities provided by the centre for citizens and residents.

Sheikh Mohammed ordered all the necessary facilities to be given to the centre to enable it to deliver high-standard services as well as electricity and water to citizens and residents alike.
