Sheikh Mohammed issues Decree forming UAE Food Bank Board of Trustees
In his capacity as Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has issued Decree No. 17 of 2017 forming the Board of Trustees of the UAE Food Bank under the chairpersonship of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
The Decree also names the Director-General of Dubai Municipality, Hussain Nasser Lootah, as Vice Chairman of the Board.
The board is comprised of the Director-General of the Community Development Authority, the Director-General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, the Director General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, the CEO of Emirates Flight Catering, the CEO of Dubai Media Incorporated's TV and Radio Sector, the CEO of the UAE Food Bank, a representative from Carrefour UAE, and a representative from the Jumeirah Group. The board has a renewable term of three years.
The Decree is valid from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
