Sheikh Mohammed meets Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak (WAM)

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai today morning met Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak at Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Center.

Sheikh Mohammed also received Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, Somali President Sheikh Sherif Ahmed and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain.

They discussed brotherly relations between UAE and Egypt at various levels and ways of boosting them.

He discussed with them each separately a number of issues on the agenda of summit held today at Sharm el-Sheikh.

Sheikh Mohammed also discussed with them ways to bolster relations with Palestine, Somalia and Kingdom of Bahrain.

They also exchanged views on important economic, social and developmental issues to be discussed by Second Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, which began today in Sharm el-Sheikh.

The meetings were attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and members of the delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohammed.

Sheikh Mohammed is heading a delegation of the State in the Second Arab Economic and Social Development Summit which was inaugurated by Egypt's President who is also the summit chairman after assuming the chairmanship from His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.
