UAE fully confident of Egypt's capacity to restore calm

The UAE is closely monitoring developments of unfolding events in Egypt and is fully confident of the ability of brethren in Egypt to overcome this delicate turn and maintain security and stability of the country.

These remarks were made by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a telephone call he made today (Monday) with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hosni Mubarak.

The UAE President affirmed his confidence in Egypt's capacity to surpass the current situation, to restore calm and stability and to deliver whatever is good for Egypt and its people.
