We must thank Sheikh Mohammed for the wise leadership: Hamdan

The message of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his accession day reflects the strength and synergy of the relationship between the leaders, said Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

Sheikh Khalifa congratulated Sheikh Mohammed on the occasion and thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his 10 years of leadership.

"We must learn from his achievements and take lessons from his experience and knowledge, Sheikh Khalifa said and added that every year Sheikh Mohammed takes the opportunity to thank others, so today, we say thank you to him," a report in Emarat Al Youm quoted Sheikh Hamdan as saying.

Sheikh Hamdan said we should thank Sheikh Mohammed for his wise leadership. He said that under Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership the UAE made outstanding achievements, including a successful and balanced economy.

Sheikh Mohammed also contributed to humanitarian causes and touched the lives of about 50 million people across the world, Sheikh Hamdan said.

Also, Sheikh Mohammed launched several initiatives that inspired the world, such as the campaign to get one million children in the region to read books helped change perceptions about the role of the government and Rulers, said Sheikh Hamdan.
