Rakesh Kumar, a resident of India’s Punjab state created a new Guinness World Record by lifting a 10-kiolgram weight using a hook placed on one of his eyes.
Kumar beat his own previous record which he created on March 10, 2011, in Italy where he lifted 6.64 kg by one of his eyes.
Inspired by an English stunt show, an elated Kumar after creating the record in Ludhiana district, said that he wanted to use his power to bring laurels for India.
“I usually watch English programmes where I see people bringing laurels for their country. So, I thought of using my weight lifting and body building power to use in this stunt and bring good name to my country,” he said.
