Man gets lost in desert, dies of thirst

A Saudi man in his 30s died of thirst after he got lost in the desert in the Gulf Kingdom while on a hunting safari, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Police and local volunteers searching for the man after he lost contact with his family found his body in the heart of the desert in central Saudi Arabia, ‘Sada’ said.

“We found him dead at night. He died of thirst as he ran out of water,” Dhafir Al Khadran, a volunteer, said.
