Man has affair, child with sister-in-law

SRI LANKA: A young woman was impregnated by her brother-in-law while her elder sister was working abroad, Mawbima reported.

The woman decided to sell the baby and found a couple who agreed to adopt the baby.

After receiving a tip-off, police officials reached the hospital to catch the woman red-handed.

Police also arrested the couple who wanted to adopt the baby.

Police has advised the couple to adopt a baby only after following the legal process as they learnt that the couple had come forward to adopt the baby in good faith.

Further investigation is on.
