Man kisses mum's feet at wedding

An Egyptian groom left his bride and headed straight for his mum, then knelt down and kissed her feet amidst applause by wedding guests in the Arab country.

A You Tube film showed the mother tried to stop her son but he kissed her both feet before standing up to hug her and kiss her head and hands.

“I just want to tell you one thing my mother. It's just that I will kneel down and kiss your feet,” the groom said through a loudspeaker, drawing an instant response from his mother, who replied: "Oh no…. my love… no.”

Newspapers said the groom wanted to show gratitude for his mother as he was congratulated by the guests for his marriage and his filial feeling.
