Newborn found in Saudi mosque

A Saudi police patrol on duty near a mosque stumbled across a newborn boy lying on a piece of cloth inside the place, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The policemen went into the mosque in the Northwestern town of Jouf just after dawn prayers after hearing the baby crying.

“They found a newborn boy lying on a piece of cloth inside the mosque. He was in good condition and was taken to hospital to identify the parents,” ‘Ajel’ daily said.
