Paralytic mum sees son hang himself

In a horrific incident in the UK, a paralytic mother was helpless as her pre-teen son hanged himself to death. She could not reach the 12-year-old prankster.

The joke went wrong inside the family's home. The boy, the police suspect, tried to put on his jacket while it was hanging by the hook. He was later found hanging from the coat hook in the kitchen with the zipper of his coat pressed against the front of his neck, reports Daily Mail.

A coroner recorded a verdict of death by misadventure, reports the daily.

The 39-year-old wheelchair-bound mother tried to free her son desperately but was unable to reach out from her sitting position even as her son choked to death.

She called in the paramedics but they could not save the boy who was declared dead at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
