1kg tumour removed from 120-yr old woman

Saudi doctors removed a one kg tumor from the neck of a 120-year-old local woman in an operation that lasted several hours, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The woman was admitted to hospital last week suffering from a neck tumor with dimensions of 11x12x15 cm, which was removed in a “successful surgery” by a team of surgeons at the hospital in the southern town of Khamis Mishait, Sabq said.

“The woman, estimated to be around 120 years old, left the hospital in a good condition two days after the operation,” the paper said.
