250 sheep die of thirst in Saudi Arabia

Nearly 250 sheep owned by a Kuwait farmer died of thirst after straying across the border into Saudi desert territory, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Sabq quoted the farmer Badr Al Otaibi as saying his sheep smashed fences at the border farm and strayed into a desert area in Saudi Arabia for two days.

“I later found my sheep in that area with the help of Saudi border guards but they were all dead because of thirst,” he said.
