3-year-old girl only survivor in family car crash

Three-year-old Hana of Egypt was happily jumping in the car with her parents and elder sister during a picnic in Saudi Arabia. A few hours later, she woke up in hospital as an orphan who lost all his family in a car crash Hana was the sole survivor in the accident that took place on Saturday on a motorway between the western town of Medina and Tabuk in the north.

When she regained consciousness at the hospital in Medina, the first thing she did was to look around as if to search for her family. But the only one who was present near her bed was her uncle, her father ’s brother Ali. 

"As she opened her eyes, her uncle hurried and kissed her swollen face.…she again looked around as if to continue searching for her family….moments later, her eyes were full of tears as if she suddenly perceived her tragedy,” the Arabic language daily Alsaudi said.

Hana suffered from bruises in the face and multiple fractures in her right hand and leg while her father, mother elder sister died in the accident. Her uncle said he would look after her before sending her back to Egypt.
