A 'content and polite' robber returns excess cash
An armed thief raided a shop in Kuwait and ordered the owner to open the drawer and hand him the money and some cigarette packets.
The frightened grocer emptied his drawer of nearly KD400 (Dh5,300) and handed it to the thief, who quietly took KD20 and told the owner to put the rest back in the drawer.“
He then said to me: "Can u please give me three packets of Marlboro,” the grocer said, quoted by the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al Anba.
“After I gave him the cigarettes, he said thanks and left. He was a very content thief and even as he was robbing me, he was very polite.”
