Asian axed to death while asleep

A Sudanese expatriate in Saudi Arabia waited for an Asian worker to fall asleep, brought an axe and split his head with one blow, a local daily said on Saturday.

The unidentified Asian died instantly after receiving the blow while asleep at dawn in his house in the central province of Alqasim, Ayoum reported.

“Police arrested the Sudanese and are interrogating him to know the motives behind the murder,” it said.
