Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on Sunday received Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, and other Arab foreign ministers participating in the first ministerial meeting of the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum, currently being hosted by the Bahraini capital of Manama.
The Bahraini prime minister lauded the Arab initiatives that enhances cooperation and strengthen the coalition to confront attempts to undermine Arab security.
In this regard, he commended the initiatives of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to direct joint Arab action towards more unity through establishment of an Arab Coalition, under its command, to protect Arab countries and their peoples from threats and interference.
"Cooperation is our only option to preserve the interests of our Arab Nation and peoples," he stressed.
The UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdul Redha Abdullah Khoury, attended the meeting.
