Bakery shut in Saudi for 'mouse tail on loaf'

A Saudi man got a big shock when he found a tail of a dead mouse on the loaf which he was eating with his meal at his home in the Gulf Kingdom.

Authorities immediately shut down the “popular” bakery in the Western town of Taif after the customer reported the incident and inspectors discovered massive health violations at the bakery, according to Sabq newspaper.

It said the Saudi was half way through his dinner at his home when he noticed the mouse tail stuck to the bread he had just bought from the bakery.

“Municipality inspectors immediately shut down the bakery and fined its owner after discoveries serious violations of health rules,” it said.
