Child killed, brother hurt in fuel tank blast

A six-year-old Saudi boy was killed while his four-year-old brother was seriously injured when a fuel tank exploded near them.

The two boys were playing near a waste site in the southern province of Jazan when the tank exploded after catching fire at the waste.

"The older brother Ayad was killed while his brother Waleed was seriously injured…police have opened an investigation into the accident,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Kabar said.
