Two Saudi policemen rushing in their patrol car rammed into a camel as they were rushing to deal with an accident involving a car that banged into a camel.
The cops hurried at dawn after receiving a report that a Saudi driver was injured when his vehicle hit a camel which was crossing the road in the central town of Turubah.
“On their way, the police banged into another stray camel. Both were injured while the camel was seriously hurt. The other driver and the camel were also injured,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.
Camel saved after falling in pit in Saudi
Saudi civil defence men used massive ropes and a crane to pluck a camel out of a narrow pit in which it plunged while wandering near a farm.
The camel was pulled out safely and taken back to its owner in the farm in the southwestern province of Jizan, ‘Sabq’ daily reported.
