Couple hurt after man used petrol to clean shirt
An Egyptian man in Saudi Arabia suffered from serious burns while his wife had light injuries after their kitchen caught fire while he was using petrol to clean his shirt, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Tuesday.
The unnamed man poured petrol on his shirt to clean stains as he stood near the gas cooker while his wife was cooking, Aljazira said.
“As a result, the kitchen caught fire, inflicting serious burns on the husband…his wife suffered from light injuries and both were taken to hospital,” the paper said in a report from the central town of Taif.
