Court orders woman molester to trim trees
A Saudi court has ordered a man to trim trees on public roads for one month as an alternative sentence for molesting a girl, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Judge Sheikh Abdullah Al Odhaibi issued the sentence in the central province of Badr after the unnamed defendant was found guilty of molesting a girl in a public place, Anbacom Arabic language daily said.
“The judge ordered the deferent to help municipality workers in trimming threes three hours a day for one month,” the paper said.
It was the second alternative sentence issued by that judge. More than a month ago, he ordered a defendant to call for prayers every day for one month and to memorize parts of the Quran.
