Dad punches crying infant to death

A Yemeni father killed his six-month-old baby by repeatedly punching her face and body to stop her from crying, a newspaper said Monday.

The unnamed father told police that he had done so because his daughter’s incessant crying has deprived him from normal sleep, the Saudi Okaz Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the western Yemeni province of Hadidha.

“This cruel and savage father said he tried to stop his baby from crying…..instead, he silenced her forever.”
