A 41-year-old Egyptian man raped his teen daughter for nearly four years, suspecting that she was not his daughter, after the death of her “unfaithful” mother.
Although he married again after his wife’s death, the man lived with his wife in a new apartment so he would continue raping his daughter until she was 15-years-old.
Newspapers in the Arab country said the unnamed father locked his daughter up all those years before she managed to escape when he fell asleep after a drug overdose.
They said the girl went straight to the Cairo police, who went to the apartment and arrested the man, adding that he confessed to raping his daughter for four years.
“He said that he suspected the girl was not his daughter because he was sure his wife was unfaithful to him before her death. He claimed he was not aware of his actions because he was using drugs,” a police source said.
