Dad stabs daughter 12 times to death

A Saudi father stabbed his 13-year-old daughter 12 times to end her life inside his car before he was arrested by the police in the Gulf kingdom.

Police found the girl lying dead in a pool of blood inside the car in the capital Riyadh and investigation showed her father had murdered her.

“Police are still questioning the father to determine his motives to kill his daughter,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

A 24-year-old Sudanese man stabbed five men during a fight with them at grocery in the Gulf kingdom before he was arrested by the police.

Sabq newspaper said one of the stabbed was rushed to hospital in serious condition while the four others suffered from light to medium injuries.

It said police were interrogating the Sudanese on the reasons for assaulting the five at the shop in the western town of Rabigh.
