Doctor leaves glass in boy’s leg

A Saudi boy who had a leg wound stitched at a local hospital had to rush to another hospital after two months because of excruciating pain.

An X-Ray showed glass shreds were still inside his leg.

The hospital in the central town of Burayda told the boy’s father that the doctor who stitched the wound apparently did not see the glass for lack of X-rRay pictures, 'Burnews' online daily said on Wednesday.

“The boy’s father filed a complaint to the local health department accusing that doctor of negligence…he said the doctor did not bother take an X-Ray and stitched the wound as it is.”
