Dog saved after falling in deep water well

Dog was suffering from exhaustion and hunger (Sabq)

Saudi civil defence divers rescued a dog after it fell in a deep water well and got stuck down for more than 24 hours, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

A farmer who was driving to his farm north of the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah heard the dog barking and tried to pluck it out but could not.

'Sabq' daily said civil defence divers went into the well and carried the dog to safety, adding that it was suffering from exhaustion and hunger.

“Civil defence men checked the dog and fed it before releasing it..…they also warned the farmer for failing to cover near his farm as it endangers lives,” it said.
