An Emirati medical team member saved the life of a Saudi driver whose car overturned in the Gulf Kingdom after he went suddenly ill, the online Arabic language daily Alsaudi reported on Friday.
The Saudi man, in his 30s, was driving on a motorway in the eastern province of Ihsa when he lost control of his car after falling unconscious because of diabetes.
“The car overturned and the man was injured but he was pulled out by passers by…an Emirati Red Crescent team member who happened to be passing in that area stopped and checked the driver,” it said.
“He gave him first aid for his injuries and his diabetes until the ambulance arrived and transferred the man to hospital… his condition later improved…the man’s life was saved after the intervention of the Emirati.”
