Epileptic fit kills Saudi student in US

A 21-year-old Saudi student suffering from epilepsy died at his apartment in the United States after having an epileptic fit, a Saudi newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Mohammed Al Baqmi was on his own, inside his apartment in Pennsylvania State, when he suffered from the fit, ‘Sada’ Arabic language daily said.

“He died of an epileptic fit as he was on his own and there was no one to help him,” the paper said, quoting Khaled Al Qahees, manager of the US-Saudi club at Robert Morris University, where Baqmi had studied.
