'Fake brigadier' storms interior ministry

A Kuwaiti apparently suffering from mental illness stormed the ministry of interior and ordered security men who intercepted him to back off and lead him to his new office after he was appointed brigadier, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The unnamed man created a big fuss before he was taken to a senior ministry official, who asked him what he wanted.

“I have received an unknown email saying that I have become a brigadier…so I came here to take up my new job,” the man said.

Alqabas quoted security sources as saying investigation revealed the man had been treated at a local psychiatry hospital.
