Ten members of an Egyptian family were killed in a road crash in Saudi Arabia while a little boy was the only survivor in the family.
The parents and their children were returning home after performing Umra (mini pilgrimage) in the western Saudi town of Makkah when the accident took place on a motorway, Saudi newspapers said.
The accident happened on Friday as the family members were heading back for the southern town of Najran near the border with Yemen.
Newspapers, quoting Saudi police and Egyptian embassy officials, gave no details of the mishap nor did they specify the age of the survivor.
"Egyptian embassy officials said they are now taking measures to arrange for the immediate repatriation of the bodies and the child to their country,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said.
