A Tunisian hairdresser who was known by most women in a Saudi city turned out to be a prostitute when a driver told the Gulf Kingdom’s religious police that she offered herself to him for some money.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice asked the Saudi driver to agree to meet her after she gave him her telephone number and told him she also has other girls.
“He gave her number to a friend, who met her…when she got into his car, the driver phoned Commission members, who came and arrested her.”
Known as Umm Shima, the woman is married but her husband works in another city. Kabar newspaper described Umm Shima as one of the best known hairdressers in the western town of Taif.
