A Saudi woman who sought help from a sorcerer to mend the worsening relationship with her husband regretted the day she went to him. For the relationship dipped further and ended in a divorce.
When she went back to the sorcerer to ask if he can reverse the situation, he tried to make advances towards her. And when she rebuffed him, her hair started to fall off in the weeks that followed their last meeting.
The unnamed woman from the eastern region managed to get that sorcerer into prison for six months but luck struck against her again. He was released long before his term under a royal pardon that benefited thousands of prisoners.
“The woman has now resorted to the human rights groups to help her…she wants the court to punish him for what he had done to her and force him to restore her hair,” Kabar newspaper reported on Sunday.
“She said the court had sentenced him for practicing sorcery but now she wants it to try him for causing physical damage and making advances towards her....the woman also intends to seek help from experts in witchcraft to break the spell of the talismans the sorcerer had given her.”
