Filipina maid saved from suicide in Kuwait

A Filipina housemaid slashed her right hand artery in a suicide attempt but she was saved in the last minute, Alanba daily reported on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old maid was found unconscious in a pool of blood at her employer’s apartment in Kuwait City and rushed to a nearby hospital.

“Police said she slashed her artery with the aim of committing a suicide…she was saved in the last minute and is now at the intensive care unit,” the paper said, adding police would question her about the motives for her act.
