A Saudi man cutting down a palm tree after it threatened his house was shocked when he saw God’s name in Arabic shaped on one of its branches.
Nearly 25 years after he severed the tree in the western town of Makkah and disposed of most of its parts, the name of Allah (God) remained as it is on the branch.
Ahmed Al Gamdi said all the branches of the tree either died or their shape changed except that branch, adding that Allah’s name remained unchanged.
“My father cut down the tree and was surprised to see Allah’s name shaped on one of its branches.
“We have decided to keep this branch and frame it to demonstrate God’s greatness and power.
“We have framed the branch’s photo taken at Kaaba (in Makkah),” he said, according to the Saudi daily Sada.
