Groom sues two women for filming his wedding

A Saudi man has filed a law suit against two local women for filming his wedding and publishing the pictures on social networks.

Nearly a month after the wedding in the eastern port of Dammam, the man stumbled across photographs of his wife and other female guests at the event.

“I asked my wife and she said the pictures were taken and published by two women who she does not know…I then decided to take them to court,” the unnamed husband said, quoted  by the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’.

The paper quoted legal sources as saying the two women, if convicted, could be jailed one year and fined SR500,000 (Dh500,000) in line with anti-information crime law.
