Indecent pictures of brother used for blackmail

A Jordanian electrical engineer threatened via emails and SMS, a compatriot sales manager of publishing his brother’s indecent pictures, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

RMF, 31, is also accused of threatening AMD, who is being prosecuted before the Juvenile Court, with publishing his inappropriate pictures which he stored in his computer for blackmailing him to continue having consensual sex with him.

TAH, 31, testified that he arrived in the Country on December 3, 2010 and stayed with his brother and RMF and worked for the same employer.

“A few days after my arrival, friends of my brother asked me to separate my brother from RMF without explaining the reason. So I left the flat with my brother. RMF asked me to meet him in a coffee shop in Karama where he told me immoral matters about my brother. Confronting my brother with that he told me that RMF threatened him with an inappropriate picture he took of him while was under the influence of alcohol,” he testified.

Then TAH, received e-mails threatening him of publishing his brother’s pictures and posting his videos on YouTube  and sending them to his family. “I didn’t give attention to the email until I received threat SMSs from an overseas numbers. I knew that the sender had actually sent inappropriate pictures of my brother via emails to my wife, sister and five of my friends, so I notified the police,” he testified.

Criminal evidence reported finding large numbers of sodomy pictures saved in his computer including 10 pornographic videos.

RMF confessed to sending inappropriate pictures of AMD and threatening his brother and family with publishing them using one of his friend’s  email address.

The court adjourned the case for verdict until December 11.
