Jordanian teacher fires gun at 2 school boys

A Jordanian teacher used his gun to shoot at two school boys during a quarrel but no one was hurt, newspapers reported on Sunday.

The incident at the school in the southern town of Al Kark began when the unnamed teacher hit a student in his class, prompting the boy’s brother in another class to intervene and attack the teacher.

Assaulted by the two, the teacher ran to his car in the school parking, got his gun and fired at the two boys. Newspapers said he missed the two boys after teachers jumped on him and grabbed the gun.

The report said education authorities are investigating the incident and could take measures against the teacher and the school boys.
