Laundry worker held for wearing customer’s military uniform
An Asian laundry worker who wanted to impress his friends by posting pictures of himself wearing a customer’s military uniform had apparently not realised the act would cost him his freedom in Saudi Arabia.
Just a day after the picture was posted on social media, police came to the laundry and arrested him.
Newspapers said the police managed to locate the laundry in eastern Saudi Arabia and went straight to the worker to take him to the station.
“He was arrested because he used customers’ military uniforms and other clothes,” police spokesman Lt Colonel Ziad Al Rugaiti said.
