A tanker laden with 32,000 litres of petrol caught fire and threatened a nearby gas station in Saudi Arabia before the blaze was put out by the fire fighters in a one-hour battle, a newspaper said on Monday.
The tanker has just loaded petrol and set off in the industrial city of Tabuk in the northern region before it suffered from a brake fault and caught fire, 'Alriyadh' Arabic language daily said.
“The fire threatened a nearby petrol station and other property in the area…but the civil defence teams managed to bring it under control after one hour and avert a disaster.”
